  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time on platform, interaction patterns.
  • Device Data: Device type, operating system, browser, IP address, unique identifiers.
  • Location Data: General location based on your IP address.

  • Authentication Providers: If you log in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or other providers, we receive basic profile information.

4. Data Processing for AI Employees

When you upload documents or provide information to train your AI Employees, we process this data as follows:

  • Document Processing: We extract text from PDFs and documents to create your AI Employee's knowledge base.
  • Website Scraping: If you provide a URL, we analyze the public content of your website.
  • Secure Storage: Your business data is stored securely and isolated from other users.
  • No General Model Training: Your specific information is not used to train AI models shared with other users.

5. How We Share Your Information

5.1 Service Providers

We share data with third parties that help us operate the Service:

  • Cloud hosting and storage services.
  • Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
  • AI providers (for model processing).
  • Analytics and monitoring services.
  • Communication platforms (for integrations).

5.2 Authorized Integrations

When you connect third-party services like WhatsApp Business or Instagram, we share the necessary data to operate those integrations according to your settings.

5.3 Community

Content you post in public areas of the community (posts, comments, public profile) is visible to other Glitch One users.

6. Data Deletion and Retention

Your Right to Delete

You can request deletion of your data at any time through:

  • Account settings (Settings → Privacy → Delete Account)

  • Your Meta Account Center (for Facebook/Instagram login users)

What We Delete

When you request deletion, we permanently remove:

  • Your name, email, and profile information
  • Your Meta login connection
  • All authentication tokens and sessions

What We Anonymize

To improve our AI models, we anonymize but retain:

  • Conversation content - We remove all links to you but keep the conversations to train our AI
  • AI agents - We remove your ownership but keep configurations for model improvement
  • Usage data - Aggregated analytics with no personal identifiers

This is done under legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for AI development.

What We Must Keep

Legal requirements force us to retain:

  • Transaction records for 7 years (tax compliance)
  • Support communications for 2 years (dispute resolution)

Opt-Out Before Deletion

Don't want your data used for training but want to keep your account? Go to Settings → Privacy → "Don't use my data for AI training"

Timeline

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:

  • Account Data: Until you delete your account, plus a grace period for recovery.
  • AI Conversations: According to your retention settings (default: 90 days for service improvement).
  • Training Documents: As long as you need them for your AI Employees.
  • Billing Records: According to legal and tax requirements (typically 5-7 years).

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data.
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured format.
  • Objection: Object to processing of your data.
  • Restriction: Request limitation of processing.
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent at any time.
