Delete Your Data

Warning: This action is permanent
Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. All your progress, AI agents, and learning history will be lost.
How to Delete Your Glitch One Data
You have three options to request deletion of your data:
Option 1: Account Settings
Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account button
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to privacy@soyunglitch.com with subject "Data Deletion Request"
Option 3: Meta Account Center
Meta Account Center → Apps and Websites → Glitch One → Remove
What Gets Deleted (Personal Information)
We permanently remove the following personal information:
- Profile Information: Name, email, and profile photo
- Meta Login Connection: Facebook/Instagram authentication link
- Authentication Tokens: All sessions and refresh tokens
- App Connections: OAuth connections to third-party services
- Preferences: Notification settings and personal preferences
- Social Connections: Followers and following relationships
What Gets Anonymized (Kept for AI Training)
To improve our AI models, we anonymize but retain the following content. This means we remove all links to your identity but keep the data:
- Conversation Content: Chats with Beato and AI assistants (anonymized, no longer linked to you)
- Learning Progress: Course progress and concept mastery data (anonymized)
- Community Content: Comments and posts (anonymized, attributed to 'Deleted User')
- Projects: Project structures you created (anonymized)
This is done under legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for AI development and service improvement.
What We Must Keep (Legal Requirements)
Legal requirements force us to retain certain records even after account deletion:
- Transaction Records: 7 years (tax compliance in most jurisdictions)
- Subscription History: Billing records for audit purposes
- Support Communications: 2 years (dispute resolution)
Processing Timeline
Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation code to track the status of your request.

Want to Keep Your Account but Opt-Out of AI Training?
You don't have to delete your account to opt out of AI training. Go to Settings → Privacy and toggle off 'Allow data for AI training'. Your conversations will still work, but won't be used to improve our models.
